Week #6

The day we stop appreciating what we have already got and the life we have, is the day we become miserable, unhappy, and no fun to be around.

Make the most out of each day.  It will really change your life!  One of my biggest highs is being productive, staying active, and being in the moment.  Think about the saying:

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the “present.”

Week #6 of my blog.  Are you not ‘feeling’ the atmosphere of your online classes to how it was in the gym or community?  I know its not the same for you and it is not the same for me either, but these are times we will remember, when we meet up again, and we will, I can hear you all saying now “Remember that time we did classes on Zoom……………………….”  Try not to let all the negative thoughts overtake all the fun times.  Maybe you struggled to get your Zoom to work, maybe you couldn’t hear me or the sound was not the best.  One of my memories will be doing the whole class and no one could see me only hear me and I did not realize until I got a flood of messages after the class!! 😊

Life has a funny way of escaping us, which is why it is so important we regularly stop to take some time to enjoy the little things and to make the most of every day.

Start by pausing to really absorb the magnitude of this time in Lockdown. It is almost unthinkable that life as we know it grinds to a halt like this. When else has this happened in your lifetime?  Life will be different moving forward.  What will you take with you from this experience? How can the lessons of COVID-19 mark a positive turning point for you?

So, making the most of the weeks/months we have left as rules begin to get ‘relaxed’ – I know things will never be the same as they were but don’t go back to work thinking ‘I wish I would have done…………’ Grab the time whilst you can, as the line above says –

When else has this happened in your lifetime?
