Weekly Blog #5

Another week gone……………………………….

Must admit I did not really know what to write my blog about this week as there has been so much Change going on……. So I thought I would write a bit about ‘Change and letting Go’ and the realization that things in my mind won’t be the same as they were 11 weeks ago!

Something Ben said to me this morning was ‘Where do you get your energy from?’ My reply was ‘Ben, I’ve got to keep on going’

Just because I have no face to face classes I have to still do my own thing – kettlebells by 10 am, walking, virtual classes, answering emails, making sure everyone has their codes for the evening class. I have just got to keep going, booking onto courses or classes that I know that will teach me new things for when I possible get back to teaching again, whether back in the community or stay with virtual classes. Who knows? Not me, but I do know it has ALL CHANGED!

I just love Jill Pransky’s book Deep Listening if you ever get chance to get a copy I would advise reading this book. For me its been a ‘return to book’. Jill Pransky says in her book “Instead of trying to let things go, she invites you to just let them be.” Rather than pushing parts of us away, we are instead creating an environment that allows us to simply loosen our grip.

What does letting go look like? It does not look like anything, it is a feeling, a feeling of total resolve and release. It is a feeling that EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE OK no matter how bad things seem to be. It is the feeling of detaching from the outcome and knowing peace within.

So lets go out there and start to make new memories : )
